About you

We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer who loves what they do, writes code that they are proud of, has a can-do attitude, and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast Javascript, CSS, and HTML to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way. You will be a part of a small creative team that is responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development from the initial specification through to developing, testing, and launching.

Responsibilities:

  • Take designs and convert them into clean CSS, HTML, and JS markup
  • Write & maintain well-designed and well-documented code
  • Analysing the technical requirements of a project and adapting the code accordingly
  • Identifying and developing areas for revisions in current projects
  • Build accessible, fast, and responsive websites
  • Debugging & testing

Required Skills:

  • Proven software development experience in a commercial capacity in HTML5, CSS, and Javascript (knowledge of frameworks such as React & Svelte are a plus)
  • Successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production-ready software
  • Solid vanilla Javascript knowledge (Typescript is a plus)
  • Ability to contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Good working knowledge of version control tooling (GIT)
  • Experience building accessible, fast and responsive websites
  • Passion for best coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
  • Ability and eagerness to learn and keep up to date on new languages and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail (an eye for design is a plus)
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
